My husband Scotty and I have been married for seven and a half years and have four children--three boys and a girl. (Our youngest son is not pictured above.) We both love the Lord and are passionate about having a good marriage, passing on our love for the Lord to our children, and reaching the lost for Christ. I taught in a public elementary school for one year when we were first married and have been a stay-at-home mom for six years now. Scotty, is an amazing Spanish & literature teacher at a public middle school. I currently home school our oldest two boys using the Abeka dvd series. We love it! What is one of my biggest hang-ups in life? Expectations. Here is my journey towards understanding just what I can expect in this life and the life to come...not based on the world's standards, but based on God's Word. Disillusionment, discouragement, and depression are slowly being kicked out of this recovering perfectionist's life!
